I hope you had a restful and relaxing summer and feel refreshed to begin another great year of learning. I am pleased to welcome all returning and new families. I am really looking forward to a great year at St. Ann School. Orientation Day is Monday August 8th from 7:30am – 12:00 pm. After going to your child’s classroom, stop by the old gym to purchase your pre-packaged school supplies (grades Pre-K through 6 only), dictionaries, desk bags, and Bibles. We will also have the rainy day placard order forms. Please print the orientation check-out forms that you can find at stanncolts.org. We will accept personal checks and cash only. We will have volunteer sign-ups for all the Home and School committees located in the gym. Volunteering is a great way to meet other parents and to help make our school more successful. We are currently looking for chairpersons for fundraising and for the Mardi Gras Dinner Dance. Representatives from other clubs and organizations, such as Scouts, Athletics, Yearbook, Karate, Colts Club, Spirit Shop and Block Party, will also be present to answer any questions and to accept sign-ups. We are looking forward to our first fundraiser which will kick off August 18th. We will be selling Entertainment books. Make sure you tell all of your family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers so they will be prepared to purchase one from you. I would like to thank you in advance for your support.
