
In 1960, the first Catholic school in the Bartlett area was established. Saint Ann School opened with an enrollment of 150 students and a faculty of 7. In the years since, the school has grown both in staff and enrollment. The current 653 students are served by a staff of 40 certified teachers, a full-time guidance counselor and an administrative team. Throughout the years, additions and changes have been made to the original structure to accommodate the growth of the Bartlett and surrounding communities. The school facility consists of 30 classrooms, library, computer and science labs, art room, music and band rooms, LIFE room, out-door classroom, gymnasium, full-service cafeteria and administrative offices. Saint Ann School is one of the largest elementary school in the Diocese of Memphis. The school is accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools. Saint Ann School is also a member of the National Catholic Education Association.

Fulfilling its role in the ministry of St. Ann Parish, the mission of St. Ann Catholic School is to facilitate strong academic development, and to nurture a lifelong commitment to Christ and the teachings of the Catholic Church in a way that promotes the spiritual and educational growth of each student, so that all students become responsible, productive and faith-filled citizens.
